Heidi has been working on the recovery of rare and at-risk butterflies in New Hampshire since 2005. She manages the Karner Blue Lab, a captive rearing facility at the New Hampshire Army National Guard facility in Concord, NH with satellite locations as needed around state such as the top of Mount Washington. She co-coordinates the New Hampshire Butterfly Monitoring Network with a core team of partners since 2022.
